INBODY

SCAN DETAILS

It is easy to get discouraged by numbers from the untrustworthy scale, but your weight doesn’t tell the whole story. Your body is made up of muscle, fat and water. So losing weight is not the same as losing fat. Likewise, gaining weight may not be all fat gain. The InBody results sheet provides an extensive display of parameters relevant to body composition that can be used to efficiently lose fat, dial in your nutrition, identify muscle deficiencies and more!

Through the use of cutting edge bioelectrical impedance analysis, the InBody allows for accurate and non-invasive body composition testing in less than 30 seconds! InBody offers more accurate results than other “gold standard” methods of body composition analysis at a fraction of the price, time and invasion of personal space. This quick, easy and precise analysis will provide an objective starting point to track your progress as you start, or continue, on your quest to better health and fitness.

Explore the Results Sheets

Each InBody Test will print out a full-page results sheet detailing lean muscle mass, body fat lbs, body fat percentage, and water values of the user.

SEGMENTAL LEAN MASS ANALYSIS

Identify how many pounds of lean mass are in each body segment through Segmental Lean Analysis. Use this portion to look for any imbalance between corresponding segments (ex. Right Arm, Left Arm) for balanced muscle development.

The InBody Test is a 15-30 minute appointment with a CrossFit James Island Staff Member. The test itself will only take a few minutes to complete, but we want to ensure we spend time with you to review your results. The InBody Test examines the compositions of your body, percentage of body fat, muscle distribution, and body water balance. Taking the InBody Test every few months will help you track your progress.
