Tell us a little about yourself and what got you on the path to CrossFit…

It’s been 2.5 years now, roughly, and I was tired of being skinny.

What is your favorite at-home exercise to do?

Nap.

If you had to do 100 reps of one movement (not running), what would it be?

Bar muscle ups because I could at least enjoy them. Jenna, you should program this.


What are 1-2 of your goals for 2021? Have you accomplished any of these?

I want to travel more—I’ve gotten to do some weekend trips already this year. I also want to gain some weight and am up about 8 pounds since the life challenge in the spring.

If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?

Have y’all seen the show No Reservations where Anthony Bourdain travels the world eating food and experiencing different cultures? I’d do that.


What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?

“Try anything once.”


If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?

Theodore Roosevelt and the Rough Riders


One thing about me people would be surprised to know?

I was in a traveling youth choir called “God’s Light.” We visited 38 states and performed on the rugged edge of the Grand Canyon.


If the CFJI coaches came to your house for dinner, what would you prepare?

Parmesan-crusted chicken.
